BrightPath Kids in Rockaway, NJ is seeking an Area Director to oversee several childcare centers and manage Center Directors to uphold BrightPath standards. You will lead recruitment, staff development, and ensure safety, licensing, and high-quality educational programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 5+ years of childcare or teaching experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Address parent complaints and concerns related to education/classroom programs
• Oversee classroom openings and reorganizations within centers
• Direct supervision of Center Directors and oversee staff/facilities
• Ensure centers comply with state safety and licensing regulations
• Assess site appearance, equipment, and cleanliness
• Implement Crisis Management Plan as needed
• Review surveys and develop improvement actions
• Train staff on new policies
