POSITION: CHILD CARE AIDE (Hours – As Needed)

LOCATION: Kettering Early Childhood Education Center

Effective 2024-25

GENERAL INFORMATION: This employee will provide supervision of students in a child care program, Monday through Friday. The employee in this position will be paid on an as‑needed basis, NO BENEFITS.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List

• To provide supervision for students.

• To purchase, maintain, and inventory materials and supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List

• Must be Highly Qualified - Possess a 2-year Associates Degree or 2 years of college credits (48 semester or 72 quarter hrs.) or passage of state paraprofessional standards exam (PARAPRO Test).
• Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit.
• Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Collaborative and problem-solving skills.
• Must have technology skills – ABILITY TO USE A COMPUTER.

SALARY: $14.39 per hour, NO BENEFITS.
