Job summary

KETTERING CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a part-time Classroom Aide (Lunch) at Van Buren Middle School to supervise students during lunch periods and support a safe, organized lunch environment.

Qualified applicants will have a 2-year associate degree or 2 years of college, Ohio paraprofessional standards, and pass background checks; computer skills and collaboration are essential.

This position is paid per the district salary schedule (spread pay) with immediate start.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be Highly Qualified – possess a 2 year Associates Degree or 2 years of college credits (48 semester or 72 quarter hrs.) or passage of the state paraprofessional standards exam (PARAPRO Test).
• Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Collaborative and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Ohio educational aide permit.
• Computer skills.
