Job summary

Kids After Hours in Maryland is seeking an enthusiastic staff member with experience in child care to join our team. Morning and/or afternoon shifts are available: 7-9:30 am and 3-6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Applicants should be patient, fun-loving, and positive role models who engage children in the activities we offer. As a KAH team member you will supervise children, help with set-up and cleanup, organize activities, and ensure safety and well-being at all times.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years experience working with children.
• Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities.
• Ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be 16 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up/clean-up of the room and activities.
• Organize and replace equipment, games, and toys.
• Provide hands-on supervision and ensure children's safety.
• Lead various group activities and crafts.
• Aides report to the site Director and communicate with parents.
