Overview

The Child Behavior Technician provides a safe and effective clinic-based therapeutical and learning environment for children in accordance with the philosophy and mission of Behaven Kids.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe, structured learning environment.
  • Interact with children in a professional, positive manner.
  • Implements Behaven Kids model of care and curriculum.
  • Implements treatment goals and objectives.
  • Communicates effectively with parents, peers, and supervisor.
  • Updates and maintains documentation and children’s records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Must be nineteen years of age.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Related field experience of 3 years in a preschool or daycare setting (Preferred).
  • Ability to work in active environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to travel to Omaha for training - 1 day.
  • Must be able to work 8:00-6:00 pm
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (Required).
  • An associate’s degree in early childhood education (Preferred).
