Job summary

Overview

Supports and assists the Program Coordinator in the operations, supervision, and management of the Day Treatment program. Provides a safe and effective learning environment for children in accordance with Behaven Kids’ philosophy and mission.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Program Coordinator in supervising the implementation of the Behaven Kids model of care.
  • Supervise and monitor direct‑care staff, service delivery, and program activities to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Identify, monitor, and implement treatment goals and objectives.
  • Perform duties of the Program Coordinator in their absence.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain documentation and children’s records.
  • Provide orientation, training, and development opportunities for staff.
  • Ensure a safe, structured learning environment.
  • Interact with children in a professional, positive manner.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, peers, and supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing, health department, Behaven Kids policies, and fire and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School degree (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, psychology, human services, or a related field (preferred).
