Job summary

NeuroPsych Wellness Center in Northern Virginia is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join our outpatient practice. You will focus on diagnostic clarification and cognitive/behavioral assessments for children and adolescents.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology is required or in progress.
• Licensed (or license-eligible) in Virginia.
• Experience with testing for children and adolescents preferred.
• Experience with intake evaluations and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for youths, including ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders.
• Provide clear, timely testing reports that are clinically useful.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, PAs, therapists and other clinicians.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary testing program with directors, fellows and externs.
• Complete documentation and billing promptly.
• Coordinate care and referrals with community providers as needed.
• Support an established outpatient group practice with a multidisciplinary care model.
• Contribute to expansion of testing programs to younger populations.

NeuroPsych Wellness Center is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join our growing outpatient practice in Northern Virginia. We offer a warm, collaborative, and supportive environment, along with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.

Position Overview

We are looking for a licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience in psychological and neuropsychological testing for children and adolescents. This role focuses on diagnostic clarification and cognitive/behavioral assessment, with support from an established multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adolescents, including:
• ADHD
• Anxiety and mood disorders
• Behavioral and emotional concerns
• Provide clear, timely, and clinically useful testing reports
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and therapists
• Participate in a well-established testing program alongside a Director of Services, postdoctoral fellows, and advanced externs
• Complete documentation and billing in a timely manner
• Coordinate care and referrals with community providers as needed
• Established outpatient group practice with 30+ clinicians
• Multidisciplinary care model including:
• Psychotherapy (licensed therapists)
• Psychological testing services
• Interventional treatments (TMS, Spravato)
• Strong referral base from local providers and community networks
• Current testing program primarily serves ages 16 and above, with expansion to younger populations

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
• Licensed (or license-eligible) Clinical Psychologist in Virginia
• Experience conducting psychological testing for children and adolescents preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in:
• Intake evaluations
• Outpatient mental health setting
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
