Job summary

NeuroPsych Wellness Center, PC – Northern Virginia is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join our outpatient practice, focusing on diagnostic clarification and cognitive/behavioral assessment for children and adolescents with support from a multidisciplinary team. We conduct comprehensive evaluations, provide testing reports, and collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, PAs, and therapists.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
• Licensed (or license‑eligible) Clinical Psychologist in Virginia.
• Experience conducting psychological testing for children and adolescents preferred.
• Must be ADOS certified.
• Minimum 1 year experience in intake evaluations.
• Minimum 1 year experience in outpatient mental health setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adolescents, including ADHD, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, and behavioral and emotional concerns.
• Provide clear, timely, and clinically useful testing reports.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and therapists.
• Participate in a well‑established testing program alongside a Director of Services, postdoctoral fellows, and advanced externs.
• Complete documentation and billing in a timely manner.
• Coordinate care and referrals with community providers as needed.
• Established outpatient group practice with 30+ clinicians.
• Multidisciplinary care model including medication management, psychotherapy, psychological testing services, and interventional treatments (TMS, Spravato).
• Strong referral base from local providers and community networks.
• Current testing program primarily serves ages 16 and above, with expansion to younger populations.
