Job summary

The Charles Evans Center, Inc. in Seaford, NY is seeking a Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW) or Mental Health Counselor to provide psychotherapy in an OMH/OASAS outpatient setting.

This part-time role offers flexible afternoon and evening hours with a fee-for-service model per locked note. You will conduct psychotherapy with children and adolescents, participate in supervision, and engage in weekly team meetings and QA trainings to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Current NYS License in LMSW/LCSW, or LMHC is required.
• Experience working with children and adolescents is required.
• Strong clinical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychotherapy with families, children, and adolescents.
• Attend supervisory sessions as scheduled and participate actively.
• Attend weekly social work meetings and present as scheduled.
• Attend annual agency trainings for QA, fire safety, mandated reporting, and universal precautions.
• Coordinate with other departments to support quality treatment.
