Job summary

New Directions Mental Health is seeking a Child & Adolescent Therapist to join a collaborative clinical team dedicated to improving access to behavioral health care in our communities. The role supports therapists in developing licensure through supervision and ongoing professional growth, in a setting that values ethical practice and client-centered care.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing outpatient therapy to children and families, and coordinating with a broader care

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFCC, or related field.
• Experience with children and families.
• Provisional license per state regulation.
• Professional licensing background and ongoing development in mental health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case conferences, meetings and discharge planning.
• Complete billing, documentation, and treatment plans in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians and staff.
