Job summary

OHSU in Portland seeks a Clinical Social Worker to join the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. The position requires an MSW, CSWA or LCSW, 5+ years of experience with children and families, and PCIT certification with 3+ years delivering services.

Qualifications

• MSW required.
• CSWA or LCSW required for clinical social work.
• 5+ years experience diagnosing, treating and advocating for children and families with mental illness.
• PCIT International certification with 3+ years delivering PCIT services.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand PCIT and play therapy services for young children and families.
• Provide services in the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry clinic alongside clinicians and learners.
• Operate PCIT room and utilize available coaching equipment.
• Balance clinical duties with teaching opportunities for residents and medical students.
• Practice trauma-informed care prioritizing safety, trust, empowerment and collaboration.
