LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. is seeking a Board-certified or eligible Child Psychiatrist to provide specialized mental health care for children and adolescents in a collaborative clinical setting.

The role emphasizes comprehensive assessment, development of individualized treatment plans, family education, and partnership with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and support developmental needs.

Qualifikationen

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a residency in Psychiatry.
• Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Child Psychiatrist post-fellowship.
• Proven track record of working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.
• Experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders in youth.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and psychopathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and teams.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with research in child psychiatry.

Aufgaben

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations of children and adolescents to diagnose mental health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Provide consultation and education to families regarding their child's mental health condition and treatment options.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in child psychiatry to incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education activities to maintain professional competency.
• Advocate for the mental health needs of children within the community and contribute to public awareness efforts.
