Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the San Marcos, Texas campus. The role focuses on delivering psychiatric care to children and adolescents in a seclusion‑free, residential setting with a flexible 4‑day workweek.

You will join a dynamic medical team, with a caseload of up to 45 patients weekly across multiple units, and most visits conducted weekly. Employment type can be 1099 Independent Contractor or W‑2 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical program.
• Board Certification: BC-ABPN Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required.
• Texas medical license in good standing.
• Meets all credentialing criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to children and adolescents in residential treatment.
• Manage a typical caseload of up to 45 patients weekly across 3 units; most visits weekly.
• Operate in a residential treatment setting with a 4-day work schedule.
