Job summary

Ellie Mental Health in Virginia is hiring licensed therapists to provide individualized, evidence-based therapy across diverse client populations. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain timely clinical documentation while managing a full caseload of 25 sessions per week.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage & family therapy, or related behavioral health field.
• Current Virginia clinical licensure or Resident in Counseling status.
• Experience completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfort with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Current Virginia clinical licensure or appropriate Resident in Counseling status.
• Experience completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
• Strong clinical judgment, professional boundaries, and ethical decision-making.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfort utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to timely documentation and quality client care.
• For telehealth services, access to a private, professional, HIPAA-compliant workspace.

• EMDR and trauma-focused treatment
• Play therapy and child-centered interventions
• Bilingual - Spanish Speaking
• Specialized or advanced clinical treatment modalities
