Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a licensed social worker to provide individual and group therapy for children and adolescents in an outpatient community psychiatry clinic located in an academic medical center.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, coordinate case management with community resources and schools, and participate in a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and plan discharge back to community services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from CSWE-accredited program.
• South Carolina MSW licensure by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners.
• Certification in case management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidenced-based treatment for patients in CDT with group, family-based, and individual therapies.
• Develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and document outcomes.
• Facilitate discharge planning to meet compliance and connect patients with community resources.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team of therapists, medical providers and families.
