Job summary

Arbour Counseling Services in Fall River, MA, is hiring licensed or licensure-eligible clinicians for outpatient services focused on children and adolescents. Per Diem, Part Time and Full Time positions are available, with a paid ramp-up period designed to help you build your caseload.

The role delivers individual, group, and family therapy within an outpatient program, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities for supervision, licensure support, and professional growth in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university
• Experience and comfortability working with child and adolescent clients
• Need to have completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits
• Required license eligibility with: LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT
• CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed)
• Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills
• Familiarity with support groups
• Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight
• Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds
• Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping
• Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
• Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation

Responsibilities

• Support clients through collaboration with other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources
• Individuals are responsible for managing their own schedule

Education

About The Role

Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer Per Diem, Part Time, and Full Time child and adolescent opportunities for Licensed Clinicians or Master's Level Clinicians working towards their licensure in our Outpatient Program in Fall River, MA. Our Outpatient counseling allows our patients to receive treatment options and support within a much more free and open time schedule. While programs are structured, our outpatient counseling is best for those stepping down from a higher level of care, seeking limited treatment options or testing out treatment for the first time. Arbour offers individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, medication evaluation & management, school-based treatment, and elder services within our Outpatient program.

The Master's Level Outpatient Clinician delivers direct services to clients, and may provide individual, group, family, or other authorized therapy services within our outpatient center; participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning; and ensures that any treatments delivered are within the scope of the therapist’s training, experience and general level of competence.
