Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Two years hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain initial information and vital signs from patient and document on assessment forms.
• Assist with unit orientation and patient rights explanations.
• Assist with collection of lab specimens and transport to lab.
• Occasionally facilitate patient groups and activities.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to charge nurse.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associates Degree preferred

Two years hospital experience preferred
