Job summary

Compass Health Center, Llc is hiring a Child and Adolescent Program group therapist to lead evidence-based DBT/CBT groups for youths aged 8–13 and 14–17. You will provide crisis support, document treatment plans, and collaborate with families and the care team in a modern Oak Brook facility.

The role emphasizes team-based care, patient-centered therapy, and ongoing professional development through CEU trainings and supervision.

Qualifications

• Psychologist or Master’s level therapist required.
• License options include LSW (eligible), LPC (eligible), LCSW, LCPC, PsyD or PhD.
• Experience in partial hospitalization or IOP preferred.
• Proficiency in CBT/DBT/ACT.
• Experience facilitating group therapy with children/adolescents a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate DBT and CBT skill groups for ages 8–13 and 14–17.
• Provide crisis intervention and staff support as needed.
• Develop and document treatment plans and weekly updates.
• Co-facilitate creative expression and experiential groups.
• Support families via phone coaching and follow-up calls.
• Collaborate with the treatment team on progress and changes.
