Job summary

Blackbird Health in Sterling, VA is seeking a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults, ages 2-26, using evidence-based practices in a hybrid model of care.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW in Virginia.
• One year of experience providing individual, direct care therapy to children and adolescent patients.
• One year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting.
• Flexibility to work during core after-school hours: after 3pm ET during the week and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 2-26).
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of patient progress.
• Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with other specialty providers and maintain thorough documentation.
• Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate.

Position Summary

Blackbird Health is looking for a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team in Sterling, VA. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and be empowered to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families.

Employment Options Available

Full-time positions for independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LPC and LMFT).

W-2 Employee - Full-Time (40 hours/week)

• Commitment: 40 hours per week total: 32 hours of direct therapy per week & 8 non-clinical hours
• Schedule: Flexible within business needs, emphasizing after 3pm weekdays and weekends
• Work Model: Hybrid (virtual and in-person) with a minimum of 16 clinical hours per week onsite.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $90,000

• Guaranteed income with predictable scheduling
• 32 clinical hours + 8 non-clinical hours per week
• Benefits: Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with employer match

The basics you'll need:

• Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW in Virginia
• Possess one (1) year of experience providing individual, direct care therapy to children and adolescent patients
• Have one (1) year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting
• Flexibility to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 3pm ET during the week and/or weekends
