Job summary

Vanderheyden Hall Inc. in Wynantskill, NY seeks a licensed psychologist to provide psychological evaluations, clinical consultation, and crisis assessments for residents in the DSS Programs.

You will support clinicians and residential staff and participate in treatment teams and CSE meetings. The role requires NYS licensure, APA or NYS-accreditation, and at least 3 years of post-graduate experience evaluating and treating youth and families.

Qualifications

• Degree from APA or NYS-accredited university in psychology.
• Current New York State license as a psychologist.
• Expertise in clinical child, adolescent and family psychology.
• At least 3 years' full-time post-graduate experience performing psychological evaluations and treatment for youth and families.
• Working knowledge of NYS family court, DSS and nonprofit residential treatment services.
• Expertise in providing clinical supervision to Master Level Clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all requirements of 29l Licensure.
• Provides consultation to clinicians, and residential supervisors.
• Attends treatment team meetings, and CSE meetings.
• Provides in-service training to school, clinical and residential staff.
• Supervises agency IRA Behaviorist and Diagnostic Clinician.
• Attends Human Rights Committee meetings.
