Job summary

University of Kansas invites applications for a Professor of the Practice (open rank) in the Department of Clinical Child Psychology to lead the KU Child & Family Services Clinic. The role combines program administration, teaching, and clinical supervision within a 12‑month, non‑tenure track contract.

The Director oversees clinic operations, training of psychology trainees, and community engagement while advancing culturally responsive clinical service delivery.

Qualifications

• PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-/CPA-/PCSAS-accredited program by start date.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in Kansas within two years.
• Experience leading a psychology training clinic or program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and lead the KU CFSC, pursuing opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Teach 1–2 required courses annually and supervise trainees.
• Coordinate clinical training, practicum placements, and APA/CPAS accreditation requirements.
• Support community engagement and outreach aligned with DCCP goals.
