Job summary

Kaiser Permanente / The Permanente Medical Group in Roseville, CA is seeking a Child Abuse Pediatrician to join a small team and provide subspecialty consultation for suspected maltreatment. The role includes collaboration with inpatient, outpatient, and ED teams, and travel as the program expands.

The position emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, county agency partnerships, and on-call teleconsultations to ensure high-quality care for vulnerable pediatric patients in Northern California.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics or substantial clinical experience with multidisciplinary collaboration
• Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or currently licensed in CA
• Experience with teleconsultation and willingness to travel as the position grows

Responsibilities

• Provide subspecialty consultation for suspected child maltreatment
• Support outpatient, inpatient, and ED providers across the region
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and county agencies
• Refer evidentiary child sexual abuse exams
• Be available for on-call consultation outside regular clinic hours
