Job summary

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of IP networking, VoIP, cybersecurity and NG9-1-1/ Emergency Communications.
• 7+ years of experience managing engineering teams and navigating complex project lifecycles.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in telecommunications and network engineering.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Bridge strategy and execution by turning company goals into technical roadmaps and guiding deployment.
• Oversee daily engineering operations with a focus on resource optimization, milestones, and budget discipline.
• Partner with executives to translate business requirements into engineering roadmaps.
• Lead Security Leadership to harden mission-critical communications platforms against threats.
• Foster Team Development through coaching, performance management and strategic talent acquisition.

This position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. East Coast Time. Office is located in Winchester, VA. A hybrid schedule will be considered for an employee outside of the area.

Requirements

• Leadership: 7+ years of experience managing engineering teams and navigating complex project lifecycles.
• Technical Depth: 10+ years of hands-on experience in telecommunications and network engineering.
• Academic Foundation: BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering.
