Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Educational Technology, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in technology, information systems, or digital transformation.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience leading professional and technical staff.
• Experience in strategic planning, technology management, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, budgeting, and project leadership.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, staff, community members, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead district technology strategy aligned with mission and priorities.
• Provide executive leadership in technology, innovation, and data services.
• Oversee planning, security, operation, and improvement of IT infrastructure.
• Manage budgeting, procurement, vendor partnerships, and lifecycle management.
• Foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service.
• Oversee E-Rate strategy and compliance.
• Ensure data governance and decision-support through BI and reporting.
• Lead cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and risk management programs.
• Evaluate emerging tech (AI, cloud) and digital transformation initiatives.
• Represent the District in professional organizations and partnerships.
