Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Chief Technical Architect for the Mission Data Management OU, primarily in Orlando, FL with options to Beavercreek, OH or Hollywood, MD. This role anchors the OU's technical strategy, leads IRAD planning, and drives cross-organizational collaboration on captures and proposals.

Qualified candidates will have advanced degrees with 10+ years of experience, an active DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred), and a proven track record in architecture, program captures, and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 14 years of experience OR a master's with 12 years OR a PhD with 10 years of experience.
  • Active DoD Secret or higher security clearance with ability to get TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience leading or participating in responses to 5+ proposal solicitations.
  • IRAD planning / execution experience.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Internal Research and Development (IRAD) efforts for the OU, including proposals, planning and oversight.
  • Leading cross-organization technical collaboration on IRAD and captures.
  • Ensuring the technical vision and roadmap for the OU aligns with BU, Division, and Sector objectives.
  • Ensuring processes and procedures meet quality standards across the OU.
  • Consulting or leading technical solutioning for capture efforts and participating in proposal development.
  • Facilitating collaboration between Chief Engineers across the OU and programs.
  • Serving as primary technical focal point for the OU Engineering Lead and the OU Director.
