**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

PAY: $130,000 - $165,000

JOB SUMMARY:The Chief Systems Engineer will be at the forefront of technology exploitation and development, shaping groundbreaking advancements in remote sensing capabilities. This role involves managing and innovating the infrastructure supporting the Strategic Missile Warning Ground Acquisition Delta's Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) mission. The position is based in Boulder, CO.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Oversee and guide all systems engineering efforts supporting the OPIR TAP Lab and Boulder Ground Innovation Facility (BGIF).


• Define, prioritize, and execute technical requirements, translating them into actionable and innovative solutions.


• Conduct comprehensive systems engineering trade studies to evaluate and recommend strategic technology investments.


• Coordinate and maintain an Integration Roadmap for BGIF tenants, optimizing activities, investments, and technological upgrades to maximize efficiency and manage lifecycle costs.


• Lead efforts in exploring emerging technology trends and recommend strategic courses of action to ensure technological leadership and operational excellence.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years in software development, testing, and integration within DoD or national security environments.


• Proven leadership in technical project management, systems engineering, and stakeholder collaboration.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
