THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

PAY: $130,000 - $165,000

Job Summary

The Chief Systems Engineer will lead technology development and exploitation, focusing on advancing remote sensing capabilities. This role involves managing infrastructure supporting the Strategic Missile Warning Ground Acquisition Delta’s Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) mission at Boulder, CO.

Primary Duties

• Oversee systems engineering efforts supporting the OPIR TAP Lab and BGIF.
• Define, prioritize, and implement technical requirements into innovative solutions.
• Conduct systems engineering trade studies to evaluate technology investments.
• Maintain an Integration Roadmap for BGIF tenants to optimize activities and manage lifecycle costs.
• Explore emerging technologies and recommend strategic directions for technological leadership.

Relevant Experience

• 10+ years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in software development, testing, and integration within DoD or national security sectors.
• Proven leadership in project management, systems engineering, and stakeholder collaboration.

Education and Certifications

Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology Management, Information Technology, or related fields.

Security Clearance

Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
