Teachers Retirement Association in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer to lead strategic planning, legislative agenda, and enterprise-wide initiatives. This executive role focuses on data governance, records management, and improving organizational effectiveness across TRA.

The CSO will oversee cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with state policies while guiding risk management and performance measurement during peak legislative sessions.

Formación

• Five (5) years of progressive work experience in strategic planning initiatives focused on legislative affairs, stakeholder outreach, data governance, or records management.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Law, Public or Business Administration, Strategic Planning, Organizational Management, or related field can substitute for one year of experience.
• One (1) year of experience managing or supervising multiple teams to achieve organizational objectives.
• Proven ability to lead with integrity, drive performance, and oversee the work of others.
• Experience with state and federal financial and retirement laws, data privacy, and records retention requirements.
• Strong data research, analytical, and interpretation skills to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills for executive audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership for strategic planning, legislative agenda, and business continuity for TRA.
• Develop and implement an integrated administrative strategic management plan with measurable outcomes.
• Lead enterprise-wide projects and improve organizational effectiveness using continuous improvement methods.
• Support data retention policies and TRA-wide performance measurement.
• Coordinate stakeholder outreach to members and employers.
