Job summary

AMN Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of Duke Health for a Chief of the Spine Division in Durham, NC. The Chief will lead the integrated spine program joining Orthopaedic Surgery and Neurosurgery, directing clinical, academic, research, and operational missions.

Candidates must be board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery or Neurosurgery, eligible for North Carolina licensure, and capable of building consensus in a complex academic health system; a distinguished academic record and leadership

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery or Neurosurgery.
• Eligible for North Carolina licensure.
• Academic track record with Associate or Full Professor appointment preferred.
• Strong business, operational, and leadership experience in a matrixed health system.
• Ability to build consensus across departments.
