Job summary

QED Systems, LLC, located at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA, seeks a Chief Special Security Officer (CSSO) to lead all security operations for SAPs and CAPs under the HQDA G-3/5/7 Support Services contract. The role requires Top Secret with SCI eligibility and extensive DoD security program experience.

The CSSO will develop, implement, and oversee security policies, coordinate with government counterparts, and manage PARs, CV, and security training across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience executing government security operations within SCI/SAP/CAP environments.
• Ability to manage program security requirements and coordinate with Government and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of security policies, procedures, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal authority on security operations for SAPs and CAPs.
• Coordinate with GSSO and oversee daily security requirements.
• Develop and implement SAP and CAP security policies and procedures.
• Provide program security support to protect personnel, facilities, information and assets.
• Manage PARs and nomination packages per DoDM 5205.07 and ICD 704.
• Maintain incident-response and crisis-management plans and conduct training.
