Job summary

American Systems is seeking a Chief SAP Security Officer (CSSO) to provide direct, hands-on support for daily administration and execution of the SAP security program. Working under the lead CSSO, you will perform critical security tasks across disciplines to ensure compliance and protect sensitive program information.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of DoD security experience, including 1–2 years in an SAP environment.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to be submitted for SAP access.
• Foundational CDSE/STEPP security training completed; SAP-specific training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process PARs, indoctrinations, and maintain personnel security files (PSFs).
• Manage visit certifications and foreign travel reporting for SAP staff.
• Assist with SAP materials control, inventories, and secure transport/destruction prep.
• Support security inspections by auditing files, updating docs, and maintaining logs.
• Provide security briefings and training support to program personnel.
• Perform general duties to ensure SAP security mission success.
