Job summary

E-Space is seeking a VP of Manufacturing & Production to own the factory system for satellite production, lead DFM integration in design teams, and drive high-rate manufacturing readiness from PDR through full-rate production. You will manage robotic assembly, ATE, MES data, and ensure quality and cost targets in a high-complexity aerospace environment.

The role requires a seasoned leader capable of scaling to 5 spacecrafts/day, optimizing a multi-discipline team, and delivering repeatable

Qualifications

• 15+ years in manufacturing and production engineering
• Led programs from factory design to full-rate production (≥100 units/week)
• Experience with robotic assembly, ATE, and automated material handling
• Embed DFM in product design teams during development
• Hands-on MES experience and data integration

Responsibilities

• Own production system metrics and end-to-end ownership from MRR to production
• Lead DFM reviews at PDR/CDR and drive readiness assessments
• Design, commission, and operate robotic assembly systems and ATE, ensure high fault coverage
• Manage production line operations, optimization of layout and workforce planning
• Maintain quality systems compliance and IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards
