Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in software development.
• Experience with Defense Community, Government Agencies and DoD/Government personnel, suppliers and prime contractors.
• 5+ years of budget responsibility.
• 5+ years of experience with the SDLC and methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
• Familiarity with government regulations and cybersecurity standards.
• Strong communication with program leadership, internal and external customer representatives and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the technology vision and strategy for Tapestry, ensuring alignment with business objectives and government requirements.
• Drive innovation in software development practices, methodologies, and technologies.
• Lead technical requirements and resource allocation for capture activities, including proposal design.
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure supporting the SDLC.
• Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies to protect government data and ensure compliance.
• Mentor software engineers, IT professionals, and staff, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Collaborate with government and commercial clients to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Oversee the technology budget and vendor relationships to support development and IT operations.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to identify growth opportunities in software and IT services.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; provide developmental opportunities for staff.
