Job summary

Bluejack Ranch is seeking a Security Director to lead the resort's security and safety program across the property. You will recruit, train, and mentor the security team while aligning strategies with our hospitality standards and delivering guest-focused service.

You will oversee patrols, incident investigations, OSHA compliance, and interdepartmental collaboration, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff. A Texas driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff and guests.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks under various weather conditions.
• Sound judgment in decisions impacting guest experiences.
• Proficiency in writing reports and correspondence.
• Supervisory experience in a security or hospitality setting.
• Experience managing budgets and departmental finances.
• Pass a comprehensive background check and Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee comprehensive security and safety strategies aligned with hospitality standards.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor the Security team for guest-focused service.
• Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular property patrols and address hazards promptly.
• Training Programs: Implement Security Awareness and Safety training for staff.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure OSHA compliance and preventive measures.
• Incident Management: Oversee investigations and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
• Facility Security: Manage security of facilities, property, employees, and guests.
• Event Support: Coordinate security for conferences, banquets, and events.
• Policy Evaluation: Regularly update security policies for legal/regulatory standards.
• Administrative Oversight: Manage schedules, payroll, and performance evaluations.
