Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a highly experienced Chief Security Officer to lead security for Next Generation programs. You will define end-to-end security architecture, oversee accreditation and RMF, and coordinate with DoD/IC stakeholders to ensure compliant, secure program execution.

You will manage JPAS/DISS, insider threat programs, and security training, while driving risk-based controls that enable rapid development and secure test environments across SAP/SCI programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years in Industrial/Special Programs Security.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP access as required.
• Expert knowledge of NISPOM and DoD security directives.
• Demonstrated success with secure facility accreditations and ATOs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary CSSO for Next Generation programs and governance.
• Define end-to-end security architecture aligning with milestones.
• Lead Security Working Groups and brief senior leadership and customers.
• Oversee clearance processing, JPAS/DISS, and personnel security.
• Implement continuous evaluation and insider threat practices.
• Lead accreditation and maintenance of SAPFs/SCIFs per ICD 705.
• Coordinate RMF, NIST, JSIG controls and ATO requirements.
• Develop PSGs, SOPs, OPSEC plans, and CPI protection.
• Drive security improvements through metrics and corrective actions.
