Heartland Food Products Group is seeking a visionary Chief Scientific & Policy Affairs Officer to lead scientific and regulatory affairs. This senior role drives strategy, engages regulators and policymakers, and shapes corporate positions on nutrition and public health issues.

The CSPAO will translate emerging science into business insights, guide external communications, and strengthen the company's credibility with scientific communities and media.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or DO in Nutrition, Food Science, Toxicology, Public Health or related field.
• 15+ years leading scientific and regulatory affairs at senior levels.
• Proven ability to translate science into strategic business decisions.

Responsabilités

• Develop and lead the company's scientific and policy affairs strategy.
• Monitor scientific research and regulatory developments relevant to the business.
• Translate findings into strategic recommendations for products and positioning.
• Establish governance for scientific positions across decisions and communications.
• Advise CEO and leadership on emerging scientific and regulatory opportunities and risks.
• Engage with regulators, policymakers, industry groups, and external experts.
