Bio-Rad Laboratories' Food Science Division is seeking a Scientific Affairs Officer to lead the development and execution of scientific strategies supporting regulatory submissions and external product validation in the Americas. Based in Hercules, CA, this role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams and strong scientific acumen.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree and at least 5 years in scientific affairs, with knowledge of AOAC, Health Canada, USDA, and FDA processes.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in scientific affairs or related field.
• Knowledge of AOAC (US) and Health Canada validation processes.
• Knowledge of USDA and FDA in Food Microbiology.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee implementation of scientific strategies to support validations and approvals in Americas for FSD products.
• Coordinate and prepare scientific documents, including validation reports for AOAC and Health Canada.
• Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to align scientific strategies with business priorities.
• Supervise strategic scientific partnerships in the Americas.
• Stay up to date with scientific advancements and regulatory guidelines to inform decisions.
• Represent the company in interactions with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
