Job summary

Puʻu O Hōkū Ranch on Molokaʻi seeks a strategic leader to guide hospitality, eco-tourism, and regenerative land stewardship across conservation, culture, commerce, and community. You will shape the Ranch’s 100-year vision and oversee budgeting, partnerships, and staff to advance self-sufficiency.

You will work with the local community to expand guest experiences, education programs, and sustainable practices while maintaining cultural integrity and long-term ecological balance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality management, eco-tourism, and regenerative land-based operations.
• Background in agriculture, land management, or conservation is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated commitment to regenerative principles, Hawaiian cultural values, and ecological stewardship.
• Financial literacy and experience with budgeting and operational planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local community and diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the Ranch’s 100-Year Strategic Vision & Roadmap (2025–2125).
• Develop and maintain annual operational plans supporting long-term goals in ecology, economy, culture, and community.
• Balance the Four C’s in decisions—Conservation, Culture, Commerce, and Community.
• Oversee ecological restoration, renewable energy systems, and regenerative land management programs.
• Build and maintain partnerships with conservation, education, and tourism organizations.
• Oversee guest lodging, experiences, and retreats; develop hospitality standards.
