Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a senior software professional to collaborate on AI-enabled software in a startup-style team. You will gather requirements, design systems, and deliver robust, scalable code with minimal supervision.

You will work with Python, React (TS), and FE stacks, and deploy via AWS/Kubernetes/Terraform while ensuring quality, security, and performance in production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with Python or React (TS).
• Strong autonomy in loosely defined tasks from requirements to delivery.
• Experience with FastAPI, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Experience in FE work: TS/JS, React/NextJS/Node.
• Excellent English communication (C1+).

• Proficiency in AI-assisted programming methods and tools, including coding agents for code generation


• Experience with AI evaluation and quality engineering, including automated evaluations, test datasets, regression testing, and failure analysis


• Understanding of AI security and production controls, including data privacy, access control, prompt-injection risks, guardrails, and auditability


• Ability to optimize AI applications across quality, latency, reliability, and cost


• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies rapidly as the AI ecosystem evolves


• Advanced proficiency in English (C1+)
