Job summary

Gould Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for our Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program for behavioral health. The Medical Director provides clinical leadership, medical oversight, and direct psychiatric care to ensure safe, effective, and compliant treatment delivery.

Gould Medical Group is a growing, 525+ clinician multi-specialty group located about two hours east of San Francisco, California.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Experience in leadership roles within behavioral health.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and oversight for PHP/IOP services.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and medical records.
• Promote a patient-centered, recovery-oriented model of care.
