Job summary

Stone Building Solutions LLC in Florida is seeking an experienced structural engineer to serve as Engineer of Record on restoration and construction monitoring projects. You will own engineering standards, review all outputs, and mentor the next generation of engineers, with field work in your first year.

Candidates should have 15+ years in structural work, expertise in concrete, post-tensioning, coastal high-rises, and a proven ability to distinguish between cracks and crises.

Qualifications

• SE and/or Threshold Inspector (SI) preferred.
• 15+ years structural experience: concrete, post-tensioning, coastal high-rise.
• You know the difference between a crack and a crisis and can prove it.
• Your seal holds weight because you've never lent it out.
• Lead people and mentor engineers to think and articulate.
• You use AI and are curious how far it goes.
• You care what a project earns, not just how it stands.

Responsibilities

• Own Stone engineering standards, judgments, and the final word on projects.
• Act as Engineer of Record on restoration and construction monitoring projects.
• Review everything that leaves the building; no report ships without your sign-off.
• Build the bench: train and mentor engineers to think and articulate like you.
• Partner with the COO on throughput; quality and timeliness.
• Live in the field during the first year to win the work.
