Job summary

The Chief Program Officer (CPO) of the Maryland Department of Health's Developmental Disabilities Administration serves as a senior member of the executive leadership team, reporting to the Deputy Secretary.

The CPO provides strategic oversight of the Community Pathways waiver program and State-funded services, ensuring person-centered, compliant, and fiscally sustainable operations for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of the Community Pathways waiver program and State-funded services to ensure person-centered, compliant and fiscally sustainable operations.
• Direct program development, implementation, and continuous improvement within the Developmental Disabilities Administration.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and foster partnerships across state agencies, providers, advocates and families.
