Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Chief Product Owner to lead multiple software feature teams, translating strategic goals into roadmaps and ensuring alignment with customers and program strategy.

You will own the Integrated Capability Roadmap, collaborate with POs, architects, and project leads, and drive feature decomposition, acceptance criteria, and joint release gate preparations. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with 14 years' experience; 12 years with a Master's; 10 years with a PhD.
• Experience translating high-level business goals into roadmaps, Gantt charts and integrated roadmaps.
• Mastery of Agile Frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience in large cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Owns and maintains the Integrated Capability Roadmap.
• Prioritizes Features and Capabilities with Project Leads.
• Ensures alignment of priorities with Customer needs and Program strategy.
• Breaks down Capabilities into Features with POs, Architects, and Project Leads.
• Ensures Features contain stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Communicates roadmap to POs and ensures roadmap compliance.
• Leads Joint Release content for Gate Reviews and participates in customer meetings.
