Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of work experience in a related field.
• A firm grasp of RH customer and overall brand aesthetic.
• Strong sketching abilities with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proven track record of designing into business plans that drive results.
• Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills across global culture and language barriers.
• Highly organized with the ability to own the design process from concept to production.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with a strong understanding of business strategy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pull together aspirational seasonal concept presentations and “Big Ideas”.
• Design into seasonal concepts and identify assortment opportunities across hard and soft goods.
• Mentor a small team of designers and product developers and keep files organized.
• Own development from concept to production approval with clear specs across languages.
• Review samples with PD teams to ensure high quality and brand standards.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Sourcing, QA, Compliance, and Planning to align plans.
• Maintain strong communication with vendors and manage post-development deliverables.
• Track annual sample and shipment budgets and solve problems as needed.
