Job summary

The Augusta VA Medical Center, part of the Veterans Health Administration, is seeking a Physician - Physical Medicine & Rehab Chief (Incentive Authorized). The role leads rehabilitation services for inpatients and outpatients and guides a team of physiatrists across the continuum of care.

Salary posted ranges from $165,000 to $350,000 per year with the incentive program, sign-on bonus, and full federal benefits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from LCME/COCA-accredited school.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any US state or territory.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of physiatrists providing rehab services for inpatients and outpatients.
• Oversee TBI and CAM program development and pain management guidance.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, HIPAA/PHI, VA policies, and performance measures.
• Participate in staff development, CME and administrative duties.
• Provide patient and family education and coordinate care across the continuum.
