Job summary

Jet Aviation Staffing seeks a hands-on Chief Pilot for Gulfstream 600 operations in the Houston area. You will lead and oversee flight activities under FAR Part 91, maintain currency and proficiency, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and exemplary service in a private corporate aviation environment.

This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to recruit, mentor, and develop flight crews while coordinating with maintenance, cabin staff, and external partners

Qualifications

• FAA Part 91 knowledge and leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent aviation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for all flight activities under FAR Part 91.
• Serve as Pilot in Command as required and maintain currency on aircraft.
• Promote safety and ensure operations comply with FAA regulations and SOPs.
• Develop and maintain flight department policies, procedures, and records.
• Coordinate with maintenance, cabin crew, and external partners for trip execution.
