Barry-Wehmiller is seeking a Chief People Officer to drive the firm’s people strategy, leadership development, and culture. This executive role will shape talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and HR operations to enable sustainable growth and market leadership.

Leading a 40-person People team, the CPO will partner with business leaders to build scalable, people-centered programs and analytics, aligning with BW’s strategic objectives and client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years HR leadership, C-suite People leadership preferred.
• 5+ years in senior People role, ideally in engineering/architecture or professional services.
• Experience in architecture/engineering or complex project-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Evolve People team operating model and structure.
• Lead enterprise talent acquisition strategy and scalable recruiting.
• Champion high-performance culture with consistent performance management and feedback.
• Lead compensation strategy and pay equity.
• Partner with senior leadership and enterprise stakeholders.
• Lead culture, engagement, and team member experience.
• Define and build People analytics strategy.
