KIPP NYC is seeking a Chief People Officer to serve as the chief architect of the organization’s talent strategy, culture, and employee experience from its Midtown Manhattan base in a hybrid schedule.

Reporting to the CEO, the CPO will lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, development, and HR operations across 1,200+ employees serving New York City’s three boroughs, with a focus on equity and belonging while partnering with Finance and other leadership to scale impact.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record as trusted strategic advisor to CEOs/boards.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale People functions (1,000+ employees, $100M+ budgets).
• Strong change management and organizational design skills.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice in education.

• Lead talent strategy and culture across the organization.
• Oversee workforce planning, talent development, and performance management.
• Govern HR operations, governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Partner with Finance to transition payroll and align People and Finance.
• Build leadership pipelines for school and central-office roles.
