Job summary

KIPP NYC is seeking a Director, People Systems and Operations to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of HR systems that strengthen workforce operations across our network. You will own the HCM platform, drive data governance, and partner with People, Payroll, Finance, IT, and school teams to deliver a high-quality employee experience.

You will guide multi-year technology roadmaps, oversee system migrations and enhancements, and translate data into actionable insights for People Team

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading enterprise HR technology initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional HR projects.
• Strong governance, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, integration, testing, and ongoing optimization of HR systems.
• Develop a multi-year People technology roadmap aligned with strategy.
• Oversee data governance, security, and reporting across the employee lifecycle.
• Coordinate across People, Payroll, Finance and IT to ensure seamless operations.
• Drive change management and vendor management for HR technologies.
