The Stowers Institute for Medical Research is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to serve as a strategic member of the executive leadership team. The CPO will build and sustain the people, culture, organizational capabilities, and infrastructure required to advance the Institute’s world-class basic medical research mission.

The CPO partners with the CEO/Chairman, scientific and executive leadership, and the Board to create an environment where scientists and staff can thrive, shaping a culture

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, organizational development, psychology, or related field is required.
• Advanced degree is preferred for senior leadership roles.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as strategic advisor to the CEO/Chairman and executive leadership on people, workforce, organizational, and cultural matters.
• Align people strategy with scientific and institutional priorities.
• Lead performance management, organizational effectiveness, and talent development across the Institute.
• Oversee compensation, immigration, HR operations, and technology in a way that supports scientific productivity.

Formação académica

Bachelor's degree in HR, organizational development, business, or related field

Advanced degree preferred
